The Middle Path

Four weeks ago was blessed with an opportunity to treat a very sick patient and finally she recovered which was nearly a miracle. They wrote an excellent letter of appreciation to me. A few days had the misfortune of managing a very difficult patient who ultimately opined that This soul was an incompetent doctor. My junior colleague was a witness to both events and on either occasions this soul was grounded and not joyous or perturbed. He told me”The second patient was totally wrong in making a statement that I was incompetent and that I should have reacted to his. statement. I replied “If only you are honest to yourself and took the right decision you need not get affected by the criticism.. You should choose the middle path of not being sensitive to either appreciation or criticism. In this situation you will not be affected and only be blissful 🙏
