My conversations with Death

When Death called on one of my patients i was fortunate to strike a conversation with Him. I asked Him “Can you kindly tell me about yourself. “I was shocked to see tears of sadness trickling from his eyes. He replied “I am the most misunderstood person in the cosmic creation. Everybody including you are of the opinion that I am the worst person in the world always bringing calamity into families by snatching away their beloved ones. Death is a celebration for the dying . Their soul gets liberated to pursue it’s existence in an alien world . I confer on the dying relief from both physical suffering and mental agony,force them to get detached and give them an opportunity to live again since life follows death and death follows life. I teach them the impermanence of existence and also the truth that “The End is not the End but is only the Beginning”. I hung my head in shame and embraced Him in ecstacy.
The Wisdom which came out of this incident is that we should welcome and embrace our problems rather than run away from them.
