My friend brought his relative to me for consultation. After taking a detailed clinical history and performing a clinical examination I arrived at a correct diagnosis ( one of those rare occasions in my career 🤣). I explained in detail about the disease,treatment options and the outcome of his treatment. A shrewd attendant of the patient immediately asked me “Can you give me a guarantee regarding the patient’s illness. ?” I sarcastically replied “Gaurantee and Warranty are given only for electrical appliances and not for humans and their illnesses.”Humans who fall ill should realise and accept that Doctors are also mortals and not the Creator.🙏
