A person came to me for review and he was on self medication. I asked him βWhy have you not come for review as per schedule? You have also done the mistake of continuing medications without the Doctorβs consent.βHe got furious immediately and reacted βIt is your mistake . You had taken leave on those three days on which I had asked for your appointment. Do not blame me for your mistake.βπ‘.Humilty is the panacea for all conflicts. I immediately responded and embraced him which did not embarrass him replied βSorry . It is my mistake . I should have been present in the hospital on those three days on which you had asked for an appointment .β He sported a victorious smile on his face and I continued the consultation blissfully . The pearl of wisdom which I was blessed with after this incident was β Who will claim ownership of mistakes you confront with in your interaction with others. It is only you and none but you. Not only you claim ownership for your mistakes but also of others . We have not been created with the purpose of running a Reformatory school π« for others to change. We have the responsibility of bring around infinite changes in our own selves for the better in this Birth. Can the Ganges alter the course of the Nile?Never and for ever. One may call me a βHypocriteβ but all my attempts to bring about a change in others has only met itβs Waterloo.ππ.I graciously accept my defeat.π
