Have you lost a Friend?😥

A friend met me after 10 years yesterday . He asked me “Have you lost any friend ?”.I replied “I have lost many.” He asked me “How did you lose them?”. I replied “Some of them died and the others moved away.”He curiously asked “Why did they move away?”.To answer this question I replied with honesty “ If Necessity is the Mother of all Invention , it can also be the Mother of Separation. Either of us would have found our friendship not fruitful in terms of satisfying our expectations. After all it is better to have loved and lost rather than not being loved at all”.True friendship exists beyond the dimensions of expectations and gratification.🙏
