What is Karma?🙏

I was doing the in-patient rounds in the hospital. An innocent ward boy smiled and asked me “What are you doing here at this time of the night?”. This question ignited the flame 🔥 of introspection in me. After nearly 15 minutes of my journey into my interior replied “This mortal is doing it’s karma.”He immediately asked me “What is Good karma and Bad karma?”. This mortal replied “Any action performed without a hidden agenda of expectation, recognition and gratification is Good Karma.As long as one does not claim ownership of any action it blooms into Good Karma.”He then told me “Then, you must be doing Good Karma.”I smiled and replied “How do you know that what I am doing is good karma ? I still claim ownership of my action with expectation of gratification .”😩.I walked ahead lost in my thoughts and ashamed of not being evolved still.🙏
