Is Karma detached action?

I have been asking my Guru repeatedly this question “ Is Karma detached action?.” He answered this question tonight at 11.15 pm. HE told me “ My dear son.You have been created to be a Doctor to render service to the ill.You cannot escape from your duty and hide under the umbrella of detachment. You cannot claim to be detached and run away from a scene when a patient is ill. Karma is “action” and you as a Doctor should perform you Karma to save the patient. As long as you are attached to that action it leads to expectations of a positive result, appreciation and gratification. This is not true Karma because there is an underlying attachment to that action. If you, at any point of time are not attached to that action , then that Karma becomes detached action and true Karma ”.
