My Conversation with the Stars ✨

The sky was crystal clear.The twinkling stars were dancing to the cosmic symphony. I asked them “ Where were you the whole of the day?.”They smiled and replied “My dear son. We were present during the day . But you ignored us when the Sun was there.But once darkness was born subsequent to the departure of the Sun , you recognised us and realised the value of us only in this darkness. Similarly in reality, you do not realise the value of the existence of someone when you do not need them. But the moment darkness and problems engulf your existence , you look forward to help of these people who were history to you and realise their value. We , as stars are immortal.We will exist after you are gone. Unfortunately those good humans which exist in the world as angels are not immortal . They will be gone one day before you realise their value.” Tears of shame trickled from my eyes.This thought was born after I was an innocent spectator to the death of my patient who was a personification of selflessness.Their near and dear ones were praising the deceased to glory . But unfortunately the dead man had only ears which could not hear.😢
