How to get rid of the “I”?

My friend told me  “ I have not been able to get rid of the I. Is it difficult to get rid of the I?”. This soul replied “ The answer is hiidden in your question. As long as you depend on the I to get rid of the I , how can you ever get rid of the I .” He told me “Please tell me an easy way to get rid of the I .” This soul replied “ If only this soul knew the answer to your question , this soul will be here experiencing emptiness without the I .” He asked me “What should I do now?.” Replied “ As long as you claim ownership of an action to get rid of the I , you will never be able to get rid of the I.” The journey to emptiness was definite in occurrence but the travel was infinite.
