The Duality of Existence

Throughout our life “Others “ govern us . We strive to be rich for impressing others , well attired for others, scale the highest pedestal of status in society ( a mirage in the Real world ) for the sake of others.This list stretches to infinity. I happened to pull out a pearl of wisdom from my notes titled “My Book of Experience. “ The thought goes as follows:
“When it comes to receiving , only the “Self “ exists but when it comes to giving , only “ Others “ exist. What an irony in human existence when we refer to one individual human as both the “Giver “ and “Receiver.”.
