I walked past a pet shop last evening .I saw a parrot enslaved inside a cage. Tears of sorrow trickled from my eyes . This very sight dropped a seed of thought in my fertile mind. We all have parrots inside isn’t it? By parrots, I mean the real us, the soul. The parrot inside is chirpy but we are not. The parrot inside is ever active, but we hardly are. The parrot inside constantly echoes the cosmic voice, to which we turn deaf ears. Very often and importantly, we need to realize that the parrot inside is never alone, for it is engaged in an eternal connection with The Almighty. But alas! The parrot is enslaved inside the cage called this mortal body! However, once we start paying heed to the voice inside, the parrot’s freedom is restored.
