A patient called me at midnight for a medical emergency. After the problem was sorted out , he called me back at 1 am and thanked me profusely for the medical assistance. He apologetically told me “ I am sorry for the inconvenience caused to you at midnight. “ I smiled and replied “You have not caused any inconvenience to me . Should you ever apologise to the the Sun for asking it light to dispel the darkness or apologise to the Ganges for asking it water to quench your thirst. They are doing only their karma and fulfilling the purpose for which they have been created .On similar grounds , it is my karma to be a conduit for health care.
