MahaShivaratari is the time when Adiyogi performs the cosmic dance. It is that time of the year, where mortals get a chance to wake up their inner reality and tap the connections with this cosmos. But who is Shiva? Shiva is nothingness but it is from that nothingness, everything that we see is born. Shiva is the origin. Shiva is purity. Purity that as pure as a new born baby or a rain drop. Shiva is also called the destroyer. Yes he destorys the effects of Maya on consciousness. Shiva is present in everyone as supreme consciousness. He is there to destory the veils of maya and restore purity in all of us. Nevertheless aren’t we all one?
This Mahashivratri , let us tap our connection to Shiva and enhance our consciousness. Remember , we all are nothing but a form of energy trapped inside a body, standing on the soils of life needlessly gravitating towards the shadows cast by Maya. Get rid of that Maya and connect with the Almighty Shiva, the only source of Cosmic energy.
