COVID paid capitation fees for me to join me in the first year internship in the Domestic University of Housekeeping. I am a mystic travelling on a path to cleanse the soul. My dream to translate this dream into reality met it’s Waterloo.
The internship pushed me into the dreaded corridors of Maya .My first day in House Keeping Residency was tutorials on mopping the floor clean. The teacher was none other than “Her Excellency “at Home . I am person who is always confined to either the study room or my bed room in my palatial flat which is around 800 square feet , I was introduced by my warden to the other rooms .It was then that I realised that only 5 feet was essential for my both my existence and end. The nuisances in cleaning were beyond my comprehension. My teacher told me with courtesy “ My dear husband ( I am just inflating the romance ) . Please do what is easy , suits you best , is easy and is most comfortable for you.” A husband’s fate is invariably in his mouth . I told her “ In that case , I will relinquish my Internship , relax in the Lazy Boy , do nothing and stay quite .This action suits me best .” Adding insult to injury , she got infuriated. The end result is that I am mopping the floor with Herculean strength. But ultimately I realised that I am cleaning the floor better than any political party which is struggling to sweep the polls..🤡
