Last evening, I went for a stroll . I was blessed to see a new compound wall freshly painted. I noticed someone had scribbled on the wall. I was in tears . I asked the wall “ Are you not emotionally disturbed that someone has disfigured you ?”. The Wall smiled and replied “You have a wrong perception.My outer core is the paint and my inner core is the brick.The paint is my body and the brick is my soul.My soul is an epitome of emptiness which can never be corrupted by any emotional disturbances.Live like me . All abuses hurled at you either physically or emotionally only hurt your exterior.Get detached from the outer core and lead a meaningful , soulful mindful life of emptiness in the inner core ” Tears trickled from my eyes and fell on the wall as an offering in gratitude for it’s wisdom . My prayers to the Creator that this soul should be born as a Wall with the greatest of Wisdom.
