Is Birth and Death True ?

The sky was cloudy and my mind was clouded on the sea shore at dawn .
I asked my Guru “ Is birth and death true ?”
HE answered “Both birth and death are false. What was born to die or what was dead to be born ? The I or the Soul? There is an identity crisis here in both birth and death. All these are illusions which are man made sand castles on the shores of Time . These castles go into oblivion when once the rays of the rising sun cast their light on these myths to ignite the flame of reality in us .”
The clouds cleared and equally so my mind after HIS reply .
