I went for a stroll last evening . I ran into a dog . It kept away from me because I was a stranger. I called it by it’s name and it came running towards me wagging it’s tail. This thought struck me then. The thought was “ It sounds ridiculous to observe that we confer an identity even on our friend from the canine kingdom and it responds to our call only when we address it by it’s name. It is the right time for all us to introspect and get rid of our identity and stop polluting the purity of the mind of a friend from another species by conferring an identity on it. When we were born , we were naive and had no identity. Our biological parents christened us and it is then we acquired an identity. After that, our identity propelled an accelerated growth of our Ego till we reached a stage when we got engulfed by our identity, This resulted in an unquenchable thirst for expecting an endorsement of the “I”. Wish you a peaceful Sabbath day to ponder , chew the cud and discover the wisdom in this post.”
