Everyone says that the soul takes shelter inside the body. It is a wrong perception. The body is mortal and the soul is immortal. Even the word “mortal” takes shelter inside the word “ immortal “. This statement endorses the truth that it is only the body which takes refuge inside the soul. The pearl of wisdom hidden in this message “ Get wedded to the soul and not to the body which enjoys only the impermanence of existence.”
