Going down memory lane, I have spent my life running after something and chasing everything which I never knew what it was . Every time I reached the destination of my desire, I felt unhappy and dissatisfied that I have not reached the goal. I was like a butterfly which flew from one flower to another to taste the nectar of wisdom but the wisdom gained was unpalatable. Nothing quenched my thirst for happiness and after 68 years I am still at the starting point. My journey has not been fruitful in discovering what I really need. This journey called “Life” will never come to an end until I discover the self which lies hidden behind the veil of maya.
A thought not to just read , but to chew the cud and ponder on the purpose of our birth. Osho wrote “ The purpose of life is purposelessness” . But I am no Osho or Rumi to give a judgment.
