My classmate met me yesterday after 43 years. To me , that experience was in line with Julius Caesar’s assassination on the “The Ides of March”. He was a difficult person to get along with and he enjoyed the reputation of Cassius Clay in assassinating others with his caustic sarcasm. In his usual arrogant and sarcastic tone he told me “I am seeing you after 43 years . I am not even able to recognise you.” Inside my body sarcasm replaced the blood immediately. . I replied “ The problem with me is that even after 65 years , I have not been able to identify my own self which has been more a mirage in the desert. When the “I” in me itself has met it’s Waterloo, how can that “You” of “Yours” can recognise the “Me “ inside my “I “ .My friend did the Indian rope trick and that was the best birthday present for me which falls on June 8 th. Indirectly I have conveyed my birthdate so that you can get prepared for my birthday present. This in Management Mantra is termed “ Soft Selling “
