Am I a Beggar?😢

A paranoid friend of mine, after seeing my appeal letter asked me “Are you a beggar? A few months ago you forwarded an appeal for a temple. Today you have sent one on behalf of an organisation. Why should you beg like this?”. I asked him “ Do you go to temple?”. He replied “ Yes and I pray there. I ask God to always bless me and my family members with prosperity, good health and peace.” I asked him “Do you lack any of the above at present?. He replied “No “. I asked him “Do you ever pray for others ?”. He replied “Never.” I told him “ You are selfish asking the Creator everything only for yourself.You have everything.But you still continue to beg. Both of us are beggars. The greatest difference between these two beggars is this “ You beg for yourself when you have everything . But I pray for others when I have nothing. There is nothing wrong in my begging .I am blessed to be in this category rather than in your category.”He hung his head in shame and left.The joy of living is in sharing and not holding back. 🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️
