Am I a Hypocrite?

A person got into an argument with me.He was full with himself. I observed silence.He questioned my silence.I answered “ It is long since I ever got into an argument because I had decided to lose every argument by not getting into any..” He immediately reacted “You are a hypocrite. ” I replied. “ I accept that I am a hypocrite by losing an argument.” He told me “This act of hypocrisy means that you are not correcting the other person’s attitude.” I smiled and replied “I myself required to change and it has taken me years to implement this change of not being argumentative. One can choose to discuss with anyone but the discussion miserably escalates to become an argument when Ego steps in.Before this discussion escalates to become an argument, I will make an honourable exit by losing it.This will also confirm to everyone that I still continue to be a Hypocrite.”
