A person known for his sarcasm asked me “Why should you celebrate your birthday at 66 years of age?”. The panacea for sarcasm is sarcasm. . I sported a mischievous smile and replied “ I do understand that at 66 one is closer to the grave. That is the reason I chose my temporary shelter ( my residence) near a permanent one ( a graveyard). It is the Law of Creation that death follows birth. What is peculiar abut death is that there is a certainty in its occurrence but there is an equal uncertainty as to when it will occur. One can die the moment he is born or die after hundred years of existence or living ( that is his choice whether to exist or live).One can celebrate his birth annually till his death. But one can never celebrate his death because he is already gone. Except me everyone can enjoy both my birth and death .This rule applies to everyone. It is best to make optimal utilisation of our present and enjoy our living to the brim.” My friend was amused and unhappy about what I told him. Well , hopefully the truth of these statements will dawn in his mental horizon one day. .”❤️❤️🙏
