Classmate

A school classmate had come on his once in 2 years visit to call on his old sick parents . This soul called on them . The father was ill with many diseases.
The friend asked this soul”Is there anything serious to worry about my father?””
This soul replied”There is nothing else other than to worry about your father especially when he is ill at 92 years”.
He said”But I am frightened about death”.
This soul replied”Life follows birth and death follows life.Death happens only once once in one’s birth. You are dying every moment in your life getting frightened about death and when death really arrives in your life you are already dead and have not lived.Do not be like what Woody Allen when he said that I am not frightened about death but the only condition is that I should not be present there when death is around the corner”.
The friend was upset and said”Ramki ,there is something wrong with you.
This soul left the place leaving him in solitude to chew the cud and become Wordsworth’s Solitary Reaper.
