Does Death give birth to Hypocrisy?

Last weekend I was blessed to attend a funeral. A visit to the funeral confirms that we are mortal and leave the world empty handed. There are some people who genuinely mourn the death of a person but what surprises me is that people who hated this dead man to the last atom of his body when he existed , praised him to the sky after he passed away . They even criticise his death as a dreadful act of God . I was shocked and asked myself the question “Should one die to be be praised ?”. When we are alive we are unpopular, criticised and hated by people but death transforms these same individuals into angels. The only solution to prevent this happening is to kill the Hypocrisy which exists within us and always be truthful to our own self🙏
