4 am was my tryst with a few empty utensils this morning . I sarcastically recalled the proverb “Empty vessels make the most noise” and conveyed the same to them. Being empty, they were well equipped to break into a thunderous laughter. They replied “ You can never become empty because you are always full . But we can always become full because we are perennially empty. We are blessed to become wise anytime and every time . We make a noise so that you can hear our call and fill us up with wisdom.”
I hung my head in shame .To me that proverb has become history. What is your take on that? Please chew the cud and get into my bandwagon.
