The Happy Unhappy Man

The title is weird and contradictory. Happiness and unhappiness are relative experiences in the dimensions of time. There is no happiness without unhappiness and there is no unhappiness without happiness. They are two sides of the coin of life . But is not possible for this coin to stand erect and choose the neutral path in life. An interesting event happened last evening. A person came to consult me. After the consultation he cribbed to me ”I am unhappy with your secretary, with your assistant and even with you. Well I could have reacted to him and told him that I was equally unhappy with him but professional etiquette demanded that I be calm . I then asked him “When were you last happy?”He replied “I do not remember. “I asked him “What or who makes you happy?.He replied” Nothing makes me happy. Please give me a solution for being happy.”I replied “Since you are unhappy with everything you should learn to be happy with unhappiness. “He was confused and I told him “The wisest man is one who is happy with people,without people and inspite of people”.The right attitude in us will take us to high altitudes.
