Never dreamt of entering a saree shop. I was kidnapped to a saree shop by my family and my close relatives. After I was inside the shop I realised that I was a fish out of water though there is scanty water in the place where I reside. The security was kind enough to lend me his throne for me to sit guard. The experience was thrilling, egobeating and meaningful. There was a Tsunami of enquiries which I had to face worse than what I face usually as a Doctor.Where is the Chuddidhar section, Silk Saree Section ,Trial Room?Is there any sale or discounts and if One buys 2 sarees how many sarees I will be given free and so on and so forth?I displayed a constipated look and brought to light my ignorance and incapability to answer any question. Finally a lady who was a distant relative of King Kong approached me. My poor heart was petrified and debating whether it should rest in peace or be torn to pieces. She told me in a gruff voice”I have been observing you for sometime. You are unfit to work”. .Fortumately she was never my patient and I can confess to all that she had no knowledge of my incompetence as a Doctor..I replied “Physically or mentally I am unfit?”.She remarked “Both physically and mentally.” I wanted to tell her this but could not “Physically can never match you and mentally we are miles apart.”If only I had told her that she would have torn me apart and I would have become Humpty Dumpty. The owner of the shop approached me and offered me the security job because I was courteous and tolerant. I told him “I would not mind exchanging my profession with the security since my profession also required only courtesy and tolerance”. He asked me “What are you?”.I replied “I am a Doctor. Society has a perception that I am a Doctor but the truth Is that Google makes the Diagnosis , the Patient decides the treatment and I decide my professional charges.only..”The owner saw stars and like Hussain Bolt I took to heels 👠 🤣
