A patient patiently called me on my cell.He asked me “How are you?”I 😂 and replied “I am fine and on vacation.”Courtesy demanded that I should be reciprocal and ask him regarding his disposition in my absence. I asked him “How are you ?”. He spontaneously replied “I am fine”. I asked him “Please tell me the reason for being fine.”He replied “Your treatment Doc”.Well the site for humour in my brain 🧠 got activated(provided you accept that I have one which is functional). I replied “It is not my treatment but my absence”and 🤣🤣🤣. He innocently asked me “When will you return for our good.”I replied “For your welfare I intend not to return and this kind gesture will also do good to me”We took leave of each other fortunately when both of us were alive and not otherwise”Learnt this pearl of wisdom from my vacation “Some people do good in their presence while most people do the best in their absence.”From the pen of the Prodigal Rheumatologist.🤣
