The month of August is like the Ides of March for any person who earns. One has to pay the tax .My auditor called me over to his office for discussion. The rapid fire 🔥 round started with the bang He asked me “How much was your earning last financial year?”. I answered “I do not know”.He asked me “If you do not know your annual income , atleast inform me your monthly or daily income ?” My reply was “I do not know.” He asked me “What is the balance in your bank account?”Reply was “I do not know ?” He asked me with tears 😭 in his eyes and out of desperation “Can you at least inform me about what your investments are.?”Like an articulate parrot 🦜 I repeated “I do not know.”He got irritated and screamed at me “Please tell me what you know?.”I laughed aloud and replied “I know that I do not know.”He reached the pinnacle of frustration and begged of me “Please tell me what was your intention in meeting me?”I replied like the Buddha “I came to convey to you that I do not know.”🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣That was the end of the interview and probably will be his last encounter with a nut like me.How futile is Existence when we waste time auditing our possessions rather than perform an audit of our priceless wisdom.May wisdom dawn on us this Sabbath day.
