A new patient consulted me this evening. After the consultation was over ,he told me âI have been referred to you by another patient who saw you ten years ago.âHe also told me  the name of the patient who had referred him to me.âImmediately I told him âI remember him and he has not come for review since ten years.Whenever a patient does not come for review , I assume either of the following probabilities.1. He is fine and has recovered. 2.He has not responded to my treatment and and has changed the Doctor for better treatment.3.He is not there.âImmediately my present patient asked me innocently âWhat do you mean by saying that he is not there?â Immediately my sarcasm and humour came to my rescue. I told him âRegarding the truth of the statement âHe is not thereâ will be understood only by your relatives after you take the treatment from me.âð€£ð€£ð€£. You will not  be there to understand that statement because you will be gone ð€£ð€£â. The crippled patient took to heels  and ran away. In the process he ran away without paying my professional charges and now I am after him.ð€£
