My Conversation with a Salmon 🎣

This morning was a productive one on the wisdom front.I saw a video of a Salmon struggling to swim upstream against the current in a river. I asked it “Why is your tribe struggling since the dawn of civilisation to swim upstream?.Accept and surrender to your Karma.” The salmon smiled and replied “ Karma is action. One can surrender to Him but can never avoid his Karma ( I mean action). You can surrender but that does not mean you should be diffident..You remember the proverb “Gold helps those who only help themselves.”. Lord Krishna told Arjuna “ You surrender to me for guidance and assistance but you cannot escapes from your duty of being a crusader for justice..Do not run away from a problem . But run after it and conquer it. I am there.” I asked the salmon “ Where did you read the Bhagavad Gita?.” It sported a sarcastic smile and replied “I hail from the land of Kurukshetra. .The whole world needs this wisdom to fight COVID. I am hopeful that I will reach my destination and you also will swim across to the evergreen meadows of  good health and NON COVIDISM. ( a new term ).
