All of us do experience suffering. But I had a unique experience at 4 am this morning. Whom do you think I met on the terrace on a winter morning? It was none other than suffering personified. It smiled at me and that smile from the origin of sorrow banished my misery. I asked suffering enthusiastically “ What pearl of wisdom do you have in store for me ?”.
It replied” Everyone has a wrong perception of me that I am a demon . It is not true in reality. Every suffering has hidden within it a bud which will blossom into a beautiful flower of wisdom.What we need to do is to discover the vision within us to look beyond the veil of maya to identify this truth of Nature.”
I was ecstatic to learn that even the dark clouds of suffering have a silver lining .
