My Conversation with the Shadow 🙇‍♂️

This morning was a blissful one. I sat meditating in the shadow of a tree in a garden. I looked at the shadow and asked her “ How are you?.” She replied “ I am blessed to offer solace to all creations who take shelter in me. How are you?.” I replied “Blissful and calm . This experience is similar to what I had in hands of my divine mother. I want to ask you a question. Can I if it is not offensive?.” She replied “ Yes.”. I replied “ Your existence is only transient. You exist only as long as light exists. Are you not insecure about your existence because you shine on the borrowed glory of the Sun ?.” She replied “My philosophy in life is to be as much useful to creations as long as I exist. All of us are mortals including you. But I have one advantage over you. I am confident of being reborn the next morning. But when it comes to you, there is no guarantee of rebirth. Live the moment and be a Karma Yogi.” Tears of ecstasy trickled from my eyes. I told her “ I will take leave and if the morrow permits and I am blessed to be alive I will meet you at dawn.”🙏
