4 am this morning was an innocent spectator to my ecstatic experience with Silence.I went back down memory lane. I rediscovered an enlightening fruitful incident. I called on an enemy who was critically ill due to COVID. Why an enemy ? On the evergreen meadows of living we fight , but on the battlefields of death we lose our ego and forgive the bitter past. Covid was sitting on it’s throne on a cardiac monitor looking forward to a flat tracing on the monitor which will endorse “Mission Accomplished”. I observed an innocent ventilator offering it’s last breath to the dying patient to save him from the clutches of Death. The ventilator ventilated it’s emotions to me .It told me weeping “I accept my Karma that I have to die for others to live. But no human being has conveyed his / her gratitude to me at any point of time. The dead never returned to say “Thank You”. The living after being discharged body and soul together from the hospital never returned to expressed their gratitude to me .Millions in my tribe are unsung heroes and they are rusting in their grave. Please counsel us .” I replied “ I also need counselling in the capacity of a Doctor who allowed others to live my life..But remember this truth — This happens in all walks of life..Do your Karma and be a Karma Yogi. The graveyard is the final destination where we realise our follies..But it is too late then because we are already dead.. Till this moment , the Ganges does not know the purpose of it’s creation. Make life simple and move passively with the flow.” I realised after 40 years of experience in the medical profession the greatness of a Covid Warrior “The Ventilator.”🙇♂️🧎♀️
