My Understanding of Death

The concept of Death has always been mind boggling to me. As a Doctor you often confront with somebody dying.

Is death only the death of the body or anything else?

It is not only the transformation of the body to ashes but also passage of the soul into another spiritual realm.

People often ask me”Can you prevent death?”

I tell them ”Every beginning has an end and how one can prevent it?We are looking only at the physical existence and not at the spiritual existence. Fear of death arises from Desire. The I in us leads to desire which leads to possession which leads to attachment that ultimately leads to fear of losing.

We forget the fact that nothing belongs to us including our existence and how can we die  when we or I never existed.

Money,power,fame cannot prevent death since they are all Maya.

There is no birth without death and no death without birth and that applies only to the physical dimension but not spiritual dimension of existence which is eternal.
