Going down memory lane , a couple of years ago an incident happened in my professional life. That incident taught me one of the best lessons in wisdom. A young lady who was in the prime of her life came to me for a consultation. It was a very difficult situation for me when I had to convey the miserable message that she had to undergo a below knee amputation of her left leg. I was shocked to see her smile. She told me βThe loss of one limb 𦡠is not a great loss to me because I have still another leg. I will feel happy to have a new limb and yet be able to walk.β I myself have a limp since the birth of the millennium and very often people ask me whether I have arthritis. I tell them that it subsequently to a fracture. I always felt bad that I cannot walk fast or run. This enlightened angel broadened my vision of acceptance. She gave me the powerful message to never crib in life about what I do not have. She taught me the truth that we should be ever contented with with what we have and be happy with what we possess .She taught me that the loss of one limb will not confer winter on us for eternity.πβ€οΈ
