Thanks ! My Lady with the Lamp 🪔

Today is “Nurses Day“. The day of “ The Lady with the Lamp”. Blessed to be a Doctor for the last 35 years and even as a patient occasionally, the Nursing profession has appealed to me as one of the most honourable ones.She / He is by the bedside of the human race from the cradle to the grave.The nurse is blessed with the touch to heal, a divine smile to cheer, a receptive ear to listen.She is a an ocean of unconditional love fortified with soulful compassion.Their untiring efforts spread over the infinite expanse of time without any borders form the backbone of holistic medical care.They are true warriors of civilisation.No action of them is corrupted by the bitter underlying agenda of expectation, gratification and recognition with rewards and awards which are futile possessions in the journey named “Karma “. On behalf of humanity this mortal bows it’s head 🙇‍♂️ and conveys to them 🧎‍♂️ “ You are guardians of civilisation and a true personification of the Creator.”
