A couple of years ago I went along with wife to the Aadhar card office for registration details.
The person in charge asked me with a frown “What is your address?”
I pointed my index finger up into the sky.
He asked me” You mean that you are staying above this room.”
The fact was that there was no first floor.
When the man was informed that there was no first floor he was annoyed and asked my wife who gave him the correct address of our residence.
that person asked me “What address I meant”?
I replied “That was my permanent address and my wife mentioned only our temporary address.
Moral. We assume that all that belongs to us is ours and permanent without realising that nothing belongs to us and we go through the agony and misery of carrying baggage which does not belong to us.
