The Alpine Experience

The Alps was my mother

Nature was my father

The clouds were static

And my mood was ecstatic

The birds were chirping

Did not understand what what they were conveying

The snow was pristine white

Held on to my Mother so tight

She kissed me on my cheeks

Which took me beyond the peaks

Nature was in abundance

And the right place for penance

The winds were cold

But I was in my mother’s hold

I was warm

And indeed calm

The sky was blue

And the flowers of many hues

They danced to the music of the fountains

Which existed on the mountains

I was lost

At whatever cost

The experience was divine

And blessed to be mine

I was on Heaven with Her

Where I will rest for ever.
