The first lesson I learnt at school was to say “Present “ when attendance was taken. It was unfortunate that I did not realise the significance of the “Present “at that point of time. At present at the age of 66 years of age I have realised the value of the “Present” when I am close to becoming “Absent” in the near “Future” ( mean that when my end is round the corner ).
