I returned home at 5:30 pm, bruised and shattered after an emotional day in the hospital. Starting work at 8:30 am, I was tortured and tormented by COVIDOPHIAS.
People do not want to die. There is always an eternal struggle between the body and the soul to part ways. The innocent Doctor is caught in between this struggle of certainty and uncertainty.
A mirage of misery rather than a ray of hope has engulfed humanity (Sorry – Please search for the appropriate word for when we are judged as being inhuman).
Poverty , natural calamities, absence of shelter and belongingness, starvation and fear have taken us over. In these moments of turbulence and uncertainty, why canβt we count our blessings and walk an extra mile to help the needy? I quote from my dear mentor Lord Shakespeare:
βWhere is that wisdom which you found in men (and women) that had fled to brutish beasts? You need to rewrite these lines now in your master piece.” -Julius Caesar.
COVID is a wake up call for all of us to become human and not continue as self-centred and selfish creations of the Master.π§ββοΈ
