What to Speak ?

An organisation requested me  to deliver an Oration to an elite crowd. They suggested a topic which was easy to choose but difficult to speak on. It will be an insult for both them if I turned down the invite. One should always arm himself with two mischievous weapons called Humour and Confusion to get out of any situation. I replied to them”You have suggested a topic about which I know what I know and also know what I do not know. At the same time the audience also knows what they know( assuming that are honest about themselves). Under these circumstances if I were to speak they will come to know about my ignorance Which will lead to their duos appointment. I do not want to go through that agony . experience of my ignorance and suffering the agony of their disappointment .For these reasons I prefer not to deliver the Oration.”The members of the organising committee were knocked out like one of Mohammed Ali’s opponents in the boxing 🥊 ring . I took to heels and fled before they came to life for another bout of verbal assault.. This post is the best sedating one which I have posted in the blog. Good night and sleep well.
