Who can answer this Question?😡

My school classmate called me after 50 years from overseas to enquire about his ailing mother. He asked me “Can you get me the following details of my mom who is admitted in a hospital. What is her illness ?Is she critical or stable? If critical what are the chances for her recovery?If the outcome is bad when she will die?”. I replied “As a Doctor I answer all your questions except the last. Why do want to know when she will die?”He repiled “I can schedule my board meeting accordingly.”I replied “ Nobody including a Doctor can predict the scheduled time of any person’s death. Death is certain but it is uncertain when it will strike a person. The Lord of Death never schedules His arrival to suit the convenience of others. Our arrival and departure from this world is already predetermined. There is no advancement or postponement or cancellation.” Nobody can answer ever his question and I felt ashamed that the values of existence have deteriorated to this level of selfishness and self-centredness.”🙏
