Who should prepare for death ?

Man is a social animal. During his journey in life , he gets emotionally attached to fellow humans and confers an identity on them as being “Near and dear ones”. He is always in a perpetual state of anxiety that he will eventually lose them when the Lord of Death kidnaps them to an alien land . I have always been tutored by my parents and teachers to prepare for dying and my death. A couple of days ago , I was involved in the cremation of a near and dear one. I was and am still in a state of grief experiencing the loss of the deceased.
Suddenly, this thought surfaced in my mind. The dead do not experience the grief of their own death but only their near and dear ones experience the negative emotions of grief when someone dies.
The thought which took me by storm was “ Should not persons at risk for experiencing grief after someone’s death be taught how to prepare for the death of their loved ones? This thought may sound weird .The thought may be rebellious and even lateral thinking. But, this thought put me on the “Road to detachment”. From this moment, I will start preparing myself for others death because for sure I will be not be alive to mourn my own death.
