Wisdom from a Plantain Tree

When I want for a walk this morning I saw a Plantain tree in my neighbour’s compound. Stood for a few minutes and meditated on her. The plantain tree also has life and one should address her her as “IT”. The Plantain tree struck a conversation. I asked her”What wisdom do you have this human being who is running around to quench his thirst for wisdom. The Plantain tree told me”My dear son”Please observe how useful I am to others. My fruit ,flower , the unripe fruit ,the leaf and the bark serve the good cause of being food for the palate for both humans and animals. God has blessed me with this unique quality of giving one self this janma. Do not be selfish. Be selfless and you will realise that you are born for others and not for yourself. I hung my head in shame for not having realised this truth till noe🙏🙏🙏
